Treetops, North Road

Leigh Woods is barely a mile from Clifton across the suspension bridge, but it feels like a different county. The roads are quiet, the houses sit in trees, and most of them are large period villas. Treetops is not. It was designed and built in 2019, and it is the kind of modern house people slow down to look at.

The plan is simple and confident. A double-height living room is glazed across one wall so the woodland reads almost as part of the room, and the kitchen runs off it around a single slab of stone. For a buyer who wants something built this century but does not want a box on an estate, there is very little like it on this side of the river.
